When popping down the street for a last minute birthday party gift just wasn't full of options, and browsing the racks to find a weekend outfit, or a piece of art to brighten the lounge room wall was basically impossible, Jodi Sparrow seen an opportunity to bring something great to her town. The fashion passionate, the last minute outfit finders, the lovers of intricate homewares or bright decorative pieces, they deserved somewhere to browse pieces in the flesh.

Naming the boutique as a nod to her own last name - Sparrow - Jodi set about opening Lil' Birdie, with the aim of giving locals a place where they could get a city boutique service, experience and range, in their small country town. Quickly outgrowing the first store, moved to a more central location in Wudinna, continually expanding the range of brands in children's gifts, women's fashion, homewares and unique home decor. In 2022 she has taken the store further, adding a Lil' Birdie online store, and making her all of the beautiful items in her store available for shipping Australia Wide, so you too can get what your heart desires, from the heart of Wudinna.
